Scope of work
StS-ISONOR has a project for BOV at Bergen Railway Station. This is a significant sized job that we started in May and is expected to continue until around Christmas.
Each individual slate stone is to be disassembled, cleaned, and inspected for any damage and wear! In two years, the railway station will celebrate its 110th anniversary. Despite good craftsmanship and quality, the building has endured some weathering, leading to leaks and slates falling off in recent years. It is therefore high time for roof maintenance, says Ole Hjalmar Birkeland, maintenance manager at Bane Nor Eiendom.
